What you can track

Every link you make with Wasoolo Tools comes with free link analytics built in — no setup and no tracking pixels to paste anywhere. Open the stats page for any short link and you can see how it is performing at a glance.

Total clicks

A running count of every time someone opened your short link. The number updates as the clicks come in — refresh the stats page to see the latest total.

Clicks over time

A day-by-day view of the last 30 days, so you can see which days got the most traffic and how a post or message performed after you shared it.

Top referring sites

See which websites and apps are sending people to your link, so you know which channels are actually working and where to share more.

How click tracking works (privacy-first)

Wasoolo Tools counts clicks in aggregate only. We record that a click happened — not who you are. We do not store raw IP addresses on your stats page and we do not set tracking cookies in visitors' browsers.

When someone opens your short link, the redirect happens instantly and a single click is added to the total. The day-by-day chart and the list of top referring sites are built from those counts — totals, not personal profiles. There is no per-person history, no fingerprinting, and nothing that follows a visitor around the web.

This keeps the tool simple and respectful: you get the numbers you need to understand your traffic, and the people clicking your links keep their privacy. For the full detail on what is and isn't collected, read our privacy policy.

Aggregate, not personal. Your analytics show how many clicks and from where — never a list of individual people.

How to read your analytics

Reading your stats page takes about ten seconds. Here is what each part is telling you:

Total clicks
How many times the link has been opened in total since you created it. Good for tracking overall reach.
Clicks over time
The last 30 days, one bar per day. A tall bar means a busy day — match it to when you shared the link to see what worked.
Top referrers
The sites and apps people clicked from. If most clicks come from one channel, that is where your audience is.

A quick way to use this: share the same link in two places — say a WhatsApp group and a Facebook post — then check Top referring sites a day later to see which one pulled more clicks. Want a link that is also easy to remember when you read out the numbers? Make a custom branded short URL with your own keyword first.

Analytics without an account

You do not need to sign up to get analytics. The stats page lives at the link returned when you shorten a URL, and anyone with that stats link can view the numbers — no login required.

Because there are no accounts, your stats page is public to anyone who has the link. That makes it easy to share results with a teammate or a client — just send them the stats URL. It also means you should treat the stats link the same way you treat the short link itself: keep it somewhere safe if you would rather not share your numbers.

When you shorten a URL, save the stats link that comes back with your short link. That single page is your dashboard for that link, forever — links never expire, so the data keeps adding up for as long as people keep clicking.

Tips to get more clicks

Analytics tell you what is working — these three habits help you give them better numbers to show:

  • Use a custom keyword. A link like tools.wasoolo.com/sale/x7k2 looks trustworthy and is easy to say out loud. Build one with the custom URL shortener and more people will feel safe clicking.
  • Add a QR code. For posters, packaging, receipts and shop displays, a scan beats typing a URL. Every link gets a free QR code that points to the same short link — so the clicks still show up in your analytics.
  • Share on the right channels. Watch your top referrers, then put more effort into the places that are already sending clicks instead of guessing.
