About Wasoolo Tools

Wasoolo Tools is a small, free toolbox for everyday digital tasks. The first tool is a fast, no-nonsense link shortener — paste a long URL, get a short one, with a free QR code and click analytics on every link.

Who builds it

Wasoolo Tools is made by Wasoolo, the team behind the Wasoolo digital khata (credit ledger) app used by thousands of small businesses. We build simple, trustworthy software for people who don't have time for complicated tools — and the link shortener follows the same principle.

Why it's free — and how it stays free

Most shorteners give you a handful of free links, then ask for your email, then ask for your credit card. We took the opposite approach: the core tool is free for everyone, with no sign-up, no limits and no paywall. It's a lightweight service to run, and it doubles as a friendly introduction to Wasoolo for small-business owners. That's the whole business model — no selling your data, no ads following you around.

Our privacy stance

There are no accounts and no logins. Your "My links" history is saved only in your own browser, never on our servers. We keep aggregate, privacy-first analytics (total clicks, clicks per day, referring site) and never store raw IP addresses or build profiles of the people who click your links. Read the full Privacy Policy.

Keeping links safe

A public shortener can be abused, so we validate every destination, block links to internal or known-malicious addresses, rate-limit creation, and remove harmful links. If you ever find a short link being used for spam or phishing, please report it and we'll take it down quickly. See our Terms & Acceptable Use.
