What you need
Just the long link you want to shorten — a product page, a Google form, a WhatsApp chat link, anything starting with http:// or https://. There's nothing to install and no account to create.
Step 1 — Paste your long URL
Copy the long link and paste it into the "Paste your long link" box. If you forget the https://, we add it for you.
Step 2 — Add an optional custom keyword
Tap "Add a custom keyword" and type a word like sale. Your link becomes tools.wasoolo.com/sale/x7q instead of just a random code. This step is optional — skip it for a plain short link. Learn more about custom short links.
Step 3 — Click Shorten and copy your link
Press Shorten URL. Your short link appears instantly and is copied to your clipboard. Share it anywhere — chat, social bio, email, print.
How to get a QR code for your short link
Every short link includes a free QR code. In the result card, click Download QR to save a crisp PNG for posters, packaging or business cards. See the full QR code guide.
How to track clicks on your short link
Click View clicks on any link to open its free analytics — total clicks, a 30-day chart and the top referring sites, with no login.
Common mistakes when shortening URLs
- Forgetting to test the link — open your short link once to confirm it points where you expect.
- Shortening an already-short link — chaining shorteners is blocked and adds no value.
- Losing your link list — your "My links" history lives in this browser only, so copy important links somewhere safe too.
